Farizal Farhan is a qualified Malaysian lawyer. He has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) degree from University of Warwick, United Kingdom and the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). He had previously served as Corporate Partner in two (2) prominent law firms in Malaysia and served as in-house counsel at a number of organisations such as Hess Oil & Gas Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Hess Corporation), Avocet Mining (M) OHQ Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Avocet Mining PLC), PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS).
Farizal advises various businesses including MNCs and GLCs on corporate and commercial matters including due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory & licensing, contract management, corporate governance, government incentives, foreign investments, energy, projects and infrastructure, social impact and finance projects.
Farizal had negotiated contracts with known international brands such as Technip, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (Korea), UOP (Honeywell UOP), Linde, Invensys (Schneider Electric), Hisaka Works Ltd (Japan), Neway Valve (China), Chart Industries (USA), Ebara (Japan), Westfalia (USA), Haldor Topsoe (Denmark), Uhde GmbH (Germany) Saipem S.p.A.
